Fantastic Charity Night at Quy Mill with Tom`s Trust
On Friday 23rd June 2017 we had the pleasure of attending The Mick George Charity Night at Cambridge Quy Mill Hotel.
The set up was incredible with nicely laid out tables and bar area.
The evening started off with Ian Darler the event organiser saying a few words about the event and why they invest so much dedication time and effort into this event (10 years in a row) .
After this fantastic speech the comedian got everyone warmed up nicely and then Andrew Whitely co-founder of Tom’s Trust spoke about the Team`s dedication of providing Clinical Psychology for children with brain tumours within UK hospitals.
We had an excellent dinner followed by an exciting auction with many sport signed photos and memorabilia.
Our managing director Alan Woods purchased three items in the auction which helped to raise a staggering sum of £10500 for Tom`s Trust and £960 for Arthur Rank Hospice on the night.
The comedian was back on and he had the room in stitches (I thought he was out of this world and a very good entertainer, this was his second year doing this event)
The evening was finished off with a raffle
All in all a great evening and one that was enjoyed by all attendees.
