An exciting move for one of our longest serving employees, Sarah Miller
With the launch of AJW Bury earlier this month we felt it was the perfect opportunity for Sarah Miller who has worked at our Norwich depot since it opened back in 2003 to take on a new challenge which was closer to her home.
We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce Sarah and thank her for all of her hard work and continued dedication to AJW over the past 15 years. She has been a huge asset to the Norwich team over the years and we are certain she will be a great addition to the new Bury team.
We asked Sarah to introduce herself…
”For those of you who do not know me let me introduce myself to you.
My name is Sarah and I have worked for AJW Distribution Ltd for just over 15 years. I started working part time for two days a week out of the Norwich depot after having my son Jacob who has just taken his GCSE’s. In turn my job turned into three days a week and then full time, I have also worked for six months out of our Witham depot just for staff cover when needed.
I have now taken on a new venture working from our New Depot in Bury ST Edmunds which opened 2nd July 2018. I am very much looking forward to a new challenge working hand in hand with Neil Thompson who is my new manager.
Working for a family run business is very rewarding and you are appreciated for all your hard efforts. Long may it continue and I look forward to a bright future. We have a networking assault course play date 15.9.18 which we are all looking forward to as a team player and looking forward to meeting with suppliers and customers. We hope to see you there and have a very enjoyable day.
Neil Thompson the Branch Manager for the new Bury Depot commented ‘I was more than happy to have Sarah move over from Norwich, it’s easier for her and she is a real asset for the Bury branch with her wealth of experience on product and AJW’s systems having been with the company for many years”
We wish Sarah the best of luck in her new role and look forward to her working for AJW Bury for the next 15 years.
