We’re now looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in overseeing all aspects of branch operations, including health and safety, sales, customer service, and stock management.

The Role

As Assistant Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping the branch run smoothly day-to-day. You’ll support the team, maintain excellent service standards and ensure the branch operates safely, efficiently and profitably.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Branch Manager with all operational, safety and compliance matters
• Promoting and maintaining a strong health and safety culture across the branch
• Overseeing stock levels, inventory accuracy and general housekeeping
• Assisting with staff training, development and performance monitoring
• Supporting the transport team to ensure safe, compliant and efficient deliveries
• Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Driving sales growth through excellent service, communication and follow-ups
• Ensuring all customer enquiries are handled promptly and professionally
• Assisting in monitoring branch performance against budgets and KPIs

Experience in the roofing or building materials industry is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
