External Sales Administrator
We are looking for a highly motivated and professional Administrator who is keen to develop their skills and become the internal contact for our external sales team.
We have four depots through-out East Anglia at Chatteris, Sawston, Norwich and Essex, with a new office in Leicester just opened. Our business is going from strength to strength therefore we have recently invested in a new Central sales team at our Sawston depot, which this role would be a part of.
The ideal candidate will be extremely pro-active, they will be a team player but also have the initiative to work on their own. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as they will be in contact with customers and suppliers on a daily basis. They must possess the confidence to communicate via both telephone and email. With attention to detail being key due to the nature of the business.
Your main role would be to support the external sales team with their daily tasks and communications with the internal sales teams. The general duties include, but are not limited to, working on quotations and chasing outstanding quotations. Feedback of information to the external team. This role will also include many other aspects including reporting using excel, organising and tracking call rotations for the external team, sample requesting, researching new customers, calling existing customers on a regular basis and administration support for the wider team.
The successful candidate will be eager to learn and develop their skills. They will be computer literate and be capable of learning new systems. The willingness to be flexible with daily tasks and the ability to prioritise are key to the success of this role. They must have an excellent phone manner to build rapport with all contacts. The ideal candidate will need to hit the ground running with the desired attributes to become a valued member of our new Central Sales Team.
