Find out what Alex loves and hates are and how he came to work for AJW.
I was born in Hellesdon which is just outside of Norwich City Centre in 1997 where I have lived the last 19 years. My Mum and Dad were brought up in Hellesdon not far from where we live. I have a younger sister who is 16. As a family we are very close and get on well.
I have never had any pets as my mum said looking after me and my sister was enough. But in the future I would like to have a dog.
I love football, it is something I have done all my life and couldn’t be without as sad as it sounds. I also enjoy playing golf which I play most Saturday mornings with a few mates. I have been told I have a bad habit with buying trainers so you could say I love trainers too.
Something I hate is letting people down, through my own doing or someone else’s.
As a person I think I am very approachable and will always help people as much as I can. I am always looking to improve as a person and within my job role.
A career goal would be to manage my own sales team. I think I have the right mentality to do so and at 19 I think I am heading in the right direction. We shall see.
My dad being a roofer was the key thing that brought me to AJW. I worked with him a few days here and there when I was younger and really enjoyed it. He always gave me an insight into different things weather it was roofing or general business. He would probably tell you I never listened to what he said but it all sank in. He got me through the door at AJW as he purchased material here so I have to thank him for this opportunity I have been given.
