On Friday 19th July a team of 7 will be setting off from our Chatteris depot at 7.30am to cycle 73 miles to our Witham depot. As soon as the team arrives at our Witham Depot the rest of the AJW staff will take over the cycle ride, riding a static bike for the remainder of the 24 hours.
The reason for this challenge is to raise as much money as possible for our chosen charity of the year the ‘Phoenix Ward at Broomfield Hospital’ via Mid Essex Hospital’s Trust. This charity is very close to all at AJW as one of our Driver’s Son’s Harrison spends a lot of time on the ward. So we are aiming to buy items for the hospital which will make Harrison’s visits to the ward more enjoyable and less stressful.
Please support the team and help us raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause.
Every little amount raised will make a huge difference for all those children who have to spend time on the ‘Phoenix Ward’.
