Not the best experience at AJW’s. Few times now I’ve put an order in and no one has told me the supplies needed... ordering so I’m waiting at a job for the delivery and no delivery. Had to ring a few times to then find out it would be days away. Not a problem had I been told from the start but puts you back at work and not good explaining to customers. Then asked for a price for cladding to be told they’d email me the quote by next day but again heard nothing so I called down a few days later to be told they couldn’t get hold of three different types. Again, a simple phone call would of been good as I was waiting to price this up for a customer so I’ve gone elsewhere now. This place ok for your day to day bits but really need someone to take charge of things properly.read more

I bought too many slate tiles from this firm. When i returned the extras, they wanted a 25% restocking fee! After... complaining, the chap dropped it to 15%. He thought he was doing me a favour, explaining it would take up too much of his time producing credit notes!!A word of advice to others, buy too little than too much or not at all.Regrettably, i will not be using AJW again, nor can i recommend to others.read more

Amazing service. Tile fell off roof and went to AJW and within 24 hours Gary had sorted out the necessary replacement. Very impressed with the excellent customer service and can not recommend this company more highly.

Being a local roofing company Ajw opening up near me was a game changer. I’ve been using the branch since they started and they couldn’t do more to help even small businesses like myself. Excellent customer service, very helpful and quick. I rang needing just a few specialist tiles for my roof project and Gary was incredibly helpful in sourcing them and getting them to the St Neots branch quicker than expected and the price was very reasonable too, highly recommend.
