How do we collect personal data
We collect information from you when you register an interest in AJW by purchasing a product from us or enquiring about a product. We also collect information from you when you voluntarily complete an enquiry form online or at any event we attend, when you enter any of our competitions and when you provide us with feedback.
We also collect data from the internet using pages such as yell.com etc. The reason for collecting contacts this way is collating publicly available details of companies who have a legitimate interest in our company and who would benefit from hearing about the products we stock and supply.

We collect data such as postal address, email, name and contact number. We also assess details about your company to see which of our products you would benefit from knowing more about.
How the information about you will be used.
We may share your information with credit reference agencies and other companies for use in credit decisions, for fraud prevention and to pursue debtors.
We would like to send you information about our products and services which we feel would be most relevant to you, by post, telephone, email and SMS but only with your explicit consent.

How long will we store your data for
If you become an account of AJW and decide to cease trading with us we will keep your details on our accounts system for 6 years due to the law.
If you apply for a job with us then we will keep your CV on file for 6 months.
AJW Distribution are 100% committed to the new GDPR law, however if you would like to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority then you can do so by contacting ICO. We do hope that this issue will never occur and ask that you contact us directly first if you have any issues.
