We couldn’t have asked for a better day the sun was shining and so we had another very successful ladies day at Huntingdon races on Tuesday 22nd May.

Everyone arrived around 4.15 where we kicked the day off with a glass of bubbles, this was followed closely by our three course meal.

Before the races began Alan Woods the Managing Director said a small speech and invited Adrian Cambridge the Operations Manager to present to everyone his tips for the day.

Ada said that  ‘Upon arrival at Huntingdon race day, Alan requested that I gave tips for each race on what I thought would be a good thing. This did come as a bit of a surprise to me but still I gave it a shot, we started off well picking the first race winner, unfortunately it didn’t go so well for the next couple of races, although we did have a winner later on in the evening so it didn’t finish too badly. The most important thing was all had a great time and hopefully didn’t lose too much money in the end’.

Once the races began everyone was trying their best to win. We did have a couple of winners for the day, Cintia our Marketing Assistant won £60 after receiving a tip from the MD.

We were asked if we would like to choose the best looking horse in race 6 and so we invited our Depot Manager Clair Bond, Jason from Sandtoft and Alan Tobin to present this award.

The whole day was a great success and we look forward to attending again in 2019.
