TILE USED: Sahtas Brookhurst Handmade Clay Plain Tile in ‘Multi’ blend
Within the countryside of Owslebury in Hampshire sits a beautiful oak timber frame newbuild of more than 3000 square feet.
The property, which features an oak Juliet balcony at the rear, boasts the Sahtas Brookhurst Multi, chosen specifically for the project by Samuel Skinner at SDS Roofing – the roofing contractor for this project.
Samuel said: “I suggested the Brookhurst tile for this project, as I’ve used them before on other projects.
“I really love the uneven effect when laid – they have more of a handmade look, like an unevenness – which is what we were trying to incorporate because of the property’s countryside location.
“The tiles have a soft, ‘higgledy-piggledy’ country feel. The owner is very happy with the roof – they’ve had all sorts of comments – everyone is really impressed with it.”
