Cedral face lift for portacabin offices

When Mc Intyre Electrical relocated their business, they also inherited a large old portacabin building as their office accommodation. The owner Joe Mc Intyre started to make plans to up grade the old building and looked at options for doing so. As well as improving the heating and internal facilities, the windows need changing and he wanted to improve the old, drab looking exterior of the building.

Various products were considered, one of which was cedral weatherboard form Marley. Having enquired about the product to Marley, as the local stockist we were asked to assist in dealing with the project and contacted the client. On meeting with owner we discussed the requirements and finally agreed on Cedral as the preferred product option.

Various site visits followed regarding building details, measuring up areas, pricing all the materials required including the batten, insulation material, cladding and trims, and when a contractor was appointed meeting up on site to discuss the product application as Cedral  Lap was new to them.

The finished building as can be seen from the pictures has achieved exactly what the customer was after, a total make over in cedral giving the whole building a bright new modern look. Building performance has also been improved with new windows and improved insulation making a complete change to working environment. The client is delighted with the finished building “ I can’t believe the difference the cladding has made to the building , it looks really great”
