We have seven depots throughout East Anglia and an Industrial sales office based at our Sawston branch.

About the Role
In the role of Industrial Sales Manager it would be your responsibility to manage the team and develop the department through a number of channels.

• Determine and manage the departments annual budget and targets set in agreement with the company requirements, ensuring that targets are met
• Continual development of the department through productive targeting.
• Maintain a high level of customer and supplier relations.
• Be committed to the expansion and success of the business.
• Leading and managing all department staff by setting examples.
• Employee development, ensuring they get the appropriate support and training to achieve their targets and develop their careers.
• Report to the Group Operations Manager and the Directors as and when directed.
• Liaise with Credit Control to set up new customer accounts within the correct period. Request any credit limit adjustments via the credit control team.
• Responsible for optimum facility space utilisation, promoting safety, security and efficiency.

About you

• Ability to prioritise their workload alongside the team.
• A team player but also has the initiative to work on your own.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as they will be in contact with customers on a daily basis
• With attention to detail being key due to the nature of the business.
• Eager to learn and develop their skills.
• Computer literate and be capable of learning new systems.
• Excellent customer service skills

The successful candidate will be eager to learn and develop their skills. They will be computer literate and be capable of learning new systems. The ideal candidate will need to hit the ground running with the key attributes of becoming a solid Manager for the Industrial team.
