This Saturday 24th September we will be attending the Gransden Agricultural show to showcase our products to the local farmers and general public but along side this we intend to raise as much money as possible for a local charity Tom’s Trust working alongside the fabulous Cambridge Charity Fundraisers.
Tom’s Trust is dedicated to providing the Clinical Psychology provision for children with brain tumours within complete rehabilitation services. Their work will not stop until every UK hospital treating children with brain tumours can offer this provision to this group of children.
If you are at the show please head to our stand and guess how many balloons full Tom’s truck to be in with a chance of WINNING a wheelbarrow full of goodies. We have received amazing support from our suppliers so this is a prize not to be missed. We have champagne, home brewed beer, Cambridge United Football Tickets, a football, wooden toys including an Easel, a selection of M&S goodies, plus so many other goodies and of course a cuddly toy!
Tickets are only £1 each so a great investment for your £1 if you are lucky enough to WIN!
Alongside this competition we are also selling a book called ‘Flash’s New Glasses’ for £5.00. The book was created by Ian Darler’s daughter who is 7, the story is one which Ian used to make up for her when she was younger. (Ian is one of the key fundraisers from Cambridge Charity Fundraiser) The reason for creating this book was to help raise further money for Tom’s Trust and what an incredible way to support this charity. We only have 100 books to sell so please find our stand early on so you don’t miss out on this fabulous story.
We have already raised £50 in our four depots with staff and customers having a guess at home many balloons will fill Tom’s Truck, but we are aiming to make so much more at the show on Saturday.
