A roofing project case study from AJW
The challenge
The challenge was to add a double extension onto both sides of the Bowls Club, alongside this was a complete re-roof in Marley Thrutone Slates to create a fresh new look.
Due to the nature of the building we need to ensure that the roof had zero condensation and so dry ventilated ridge system was used to ensure this didn’t happen.
The solution
A complete NHBC approved re-roof with Dry ridge ventilation to ensure maximum air flow.
Marley Cedral Weatherboard was also used to clad the step up at the abutments to create a more modern look.
Finished off with new white PVC fascias & Black guttering.
The results
The end result was remarkable, Ridgeons had managed to source a brick that was almost exactly the same as the existing bricks.
The roofers have made a fantastic job of the roof which now has a very vibrant feel with a fresh new look.
The locals are very happy and all of the competition have stated how impressed they are with the dramatic improvement in both size and quality.
The builder who worked on this project was D & R Copeland from Royston. Please contact your local AJW depot for their contact details.
