Finance Manager - AJW Distribution Group

Branch: Chatteris (HQ)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Finance team for a Finance Manager looking for their next challenge. Reporting to the Finance Director this is an excellent opportunity to further your career in a progressive family business in East Anglia.

Key areas of responsibility include:
• Manage and develop the Finance Team.
• Preparation of financial information, including weekly and monthly accounts.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Cash Flow management.
• Business partnering with Senior Management Team.
• Control and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Dealing with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements, including PAYE, VAT and statistical returns.
• Managing year-end audit process.
• Continual development and improvement of systems.
• Deputising for the Finance Director.

Key Requirements of the role:
• Ability to communicate at all levels to non-financial audiences.
• Experience of supervising / managing staff.
• Pro-active positive thinker with “can do” attitude.
• SME experience preferred but not essential.
• Computer literate – Advanced Excel, ERP systems (preferred).
• Part Qualified or equivalent.
