Where were you born?
I was born in Royston and have lived in Cambridgeshire my whole life.
Introduce us to your family
If you are not aware some of you will have met my family. My wife Julie I have been married too for 45 years 🙂 and my three children Gareth, Charlotte & Tom all work at AJW. I also have three wonderful grandchildren Ryan, Grace and Ethan.
Do you have any pets?
I have always kept birds since I can remember with a number of aviaries in the garden, this was a love of my Dad’s and so he has passed this onto me. The kind of birds I keep are Foreign Finches.
What do you love?
My Grandchildren 🙂
What do you hate?
People not saying thank you and people who say they are going to do things and don’t.
What is your nickname?
Jackie as it was my Dad’s name and I was always compared to him.
What is your favourite place in the world?
I have been lucky enough to be able to visit a number of places and follow the cricket around the world. The most amazing place & favourite country I have visited has to be Antigua.
What’s the strangest talent you have?
Is being ‘too generous’ a strange talent?
Can you play any musical instruments?
No as I have no rhythm or so my wife would say!
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
To play the piano or to try and keep my wife happy 🙂
How long have you worked for AJW?
As the founder of AJW I have worked for the business for 20 years now. I started the company back in 1998 and am extremely proud of where we are today.
What does your job involve?
Not a lot from the New Year probably just moaning even more.
