Introduce yourself Rob
I was born in Taunton, moved around a bit as a kid, Surrey, Essex & finally to Norfolk at about 12 & have been here ever since.
What do you love?
I am a big sports fan; I have played basically everything going over the years, have recently re-taken up golf, so I spend most weekends hacking it around Wensum Valley.
However, when the baby arrives, I’m sure this answer will change to changing nappies for a hobby!
What do you hate?
Negative & defeatist attitudes – never met a challenge that can’t be overcome with the correct mindset!
Any hidden talents?
I Played cricket at county level as a kid. My hidden talent would probably be remembering pointless song lyrics from 1998….
Do you have any pets?
I’ve always had dogs all my life, but unfortunately, the Mrs isn’t a fan….
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would love to learn to fly; my grandad worked on the spitfires, so always been a dream!
What is your favourite country that you have been to visit?
Mexico without a doubt!
What does your job involve?
Four and a half years ago, I made the jump from retail. I joined AJW from a competitor in January 2020 & haven’t looked back!
As the ABM, my day to day generally consists of dealing with our larger accounts, managing stock levels in the branch & serving our wonderful customers.
What do you enjoy about your job?
The relationships & banter with the punters, can’t beat it!
