AJW Chatteris are celebrating a successful first year trading at their new site on Honeysome Industrial Estate, Chatteris. To thank our loyal customers during what has been an extraordinary first year due to many Covid restriction we will be celebrating with a 4-day celebration kicking off on Tuesday 9^th November with an open event.

Visit the depot on the 9^th November to meet some of our key suppliers to find out more about their products, you will also receive a FREE breakfast or lunch from local food van TJ wings. TJ Wings offers a selection of halal food, including homemade burgers and boneless strips coated in a choose of 4 – 5 homemade sauces with a choice of fries or rice.

We will be giving away goody bags to anyone who visit the depot with the chance to WIN our ‘golden ticket’ which you will find whilst flicking through our brand-new catalogue which will be included in your goody bags.

We would also like to introduce you to our new Chatteris sales team as we have recently promoting Dave Weare to become Branch Manager. Some of you might know Dave as he has worked for AJW Chatteris for a number of years as a driver and also yardman but due to the development of the depot and moving Clair Bond to our Central Sales Department Dave was the perfect person to manage and develop the Chatteris depot. He has a wealth of experience in the roofing industry and having worked for a merchant previously he has the knowledge of managing a similar depot.

Dave Weare, commented; “I have been working for AJW for nearly 7 years now, having worked in most areas of this industry all my working life from Warehouseman, Driver, Sales Assistant to management rolls, I am excited to be taking on this new challenge. I love working for a family run business as we can offer a more personal service for our customers. We have a great team of us here within the branch and bring a wealth of knowledge between us all.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all of our customers new and old for their continued support and business in what has been an incredibly tough time for many over the past year or so”.

As well as Dave being the new Manager for our Chatteris depot we have Kelly Hudson in sales who has worked for AJW Chatteris since 2014 and has recently started working full time for the depot now.

The team also includes Harvey Ferries who joined the team this month having worked in the building industry for a number of years. Between the three team members the depot can help you with any roofing or cladding enquiry you might have, with the teams outstanding product knowledge and fabulous customers service levels they are ready to help you with any enquiry.

AJW Chatteris launched back in 1998 as our head office and since then we have seen the business grow to include 5 depots across East Anglia plus 2 Industrial sales offices.
