On Friday afternoon we had the pleasure of attending the UK Roofing Awards for 2017 hosted by NFRC held at the park Plaza Hotel, Westminster as guests of CUPA PIZARRAS. The afternoon began with lots of introduction’s to fellow Roofing suppliers before we took to our tables. The tables looked amazing and along with the red carpet for the award winners to walk down to collect there prizes the room looked fantastic. The chief executive of the NFRC James Talman welcomed everybody to the occasion and the awards Ceremony then began hosted by Steph McGovern from BBC breakfast Business news. There were numerous awards presented, 17 in total. Steph was a fantastic Compare and along with Alan Dedicoat, well known as the voice of the national Lottery they had the crowds in the palm of their hands. Steph is a very funny and in her own words “Northern Lass” and shared some great funny stories with us and along with Alan the afternoon flowed beautifully.

The event was completed with some evening entertainment and a little dancing. All in all a great day and one that was enjoyed by all attendees.
