AJW Distribution Group completes its first acquisition of Castle Roofing Supplies in Market Deeping

Ken Smith, previous owner of Castle Roofing Supplies, felt it was the right time to sell and was looking for a family-run business similar to his own to carry on his legacy. Ken has known AJW for a number of years and after an initial call from Tom Woods to inquire about this prospect, Ken felt AJW would be the perfect fit to take his business to the next level. He knew they would offer the same kind of service he does to his customers and that they would care about making the business a success.

Managing Director, Tom Woods commented we were honoured to be contacted by Ken and feel that Castle Roofing Supplies is the perfect fit for the AJW Group. The depot is north of our current territory and gives us the opportunity to develop our business further into Peterborough and the surrounding areas.

We have spoken about developing the AJW business for some time and feel this was an opportunity not to be missed. Ken and his team have created a solid business with an amazing reputation where service is at the forefront of their company ethos which is perfectly aligned with AJW’s. We are looking forward to continuing the level of service which they offer their customers; plus, we will look to develop the product offering from Castle Roofing in line with the rest of the AJW Group.
