Back in 1998 when AJW launched with Alan Woods our Managing Director as the yardman, salesman and accountant we predominately sold Industrial roofing products, selling to Farmers, Industrial contractors and so on. However, over the last 23 years the business has grown to include all areas of roofing such as pitched roofing, flat roofing and any accessory you might need for a roof.

Over the past few years we have slowly developed our Sheeting and Cladding department and are proud to announce the official launch of our brand new ‘Sheeting and Cladding Division’.

We have a solid and expert team who between them have over 100 years’ experience supplying roofing and cladding materials. Clair Bond has been with AJW for over 10 years and recently moved from being the branch Manager of our Chatteris depot, to now manage the team. Clair is known in the industry for her knowledge and also her customer service. She is always on hand to answer any question and anything she doesn’t know she will find out. Next, we have Ted Carolan who has worked for AJW for 17 years on the 1^st March. Ted has working in roofing since forever and what Ted doesn’t know about sheeting and cladding isn’t worth knowing. He offers the best service available to our customers and has a keen eye to details for your roofing projects. Next, we have Mark Maclean who is the contact for our Leicester office. Mark joined AJW back in 2018 and has been an asset to the team since he joined. He has a key client base who use us because of his knowledge and expertise in the Industry. We also have the wonderful Charmaine who is the departments administrator and supports the team with her admin skills on a daily basis.

The team is managed by Gareth Woods, the Commercial Director for AJW Distribution Group. He has taken on this role as his knowledge in the roofing world lies within sheeting and cladding and with 22 years’ experience he understands how to support this new department.

As a business we have revamped the department as we wanted to offer a bigger product range and make ourselves amendable to people in all walks of life. Whether you are building a new amazon warehouse, your dream home or your own garden office, outbuilding, the team is here to support you with your sheeting and cladding requirements. We have access to a huge range of suppliers including Kingspan, Equitone, Tata to name a few and are constantly meeting new suppliers to be able to offer our customers a diverse portfolio of products which we can supply. We can supply numerous metal fabrications inc; Galv, Aluminum and PVC, but can also offer a bespoke service to support your needs.
